EVENT DESCRIPTION: Lionheart GP is in its 12th year of providing quality racing for all categories with an
emphasis on juniors and beginner riders. The event serves as a fund raiser for the Lionheart Junior Racing
program. The Lionhearts have grown to over 50 junior racers aged 16 and under, competing primarily in
cyclocross. The Lionhearts clear mission is to get as many kids racing as possible – at every level from
local to international competitions.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Lionheart GP is held on the grounds of the Procter & Gamble Mason Business
Center on a closed loop. There is a sweeping long downhill and a short uphill, with a course approximately
1.65 miles long.

• Check-in and waiver required for participation.
• Entry fee includes USA Cycling $3 insurance surcharge.
• All riders must have a current USA Cycling racing license except for Juniors, Men Cat 5 and Women
Cat 4 races. One-day licenses will be available at check in for $10.
• Helmets – approved helmets must be worn and fastened anytime you are astride your bike.
• Gearing – junior gear restrictions apply for junior aged racers entering any race. Gear checks
(rollouts) will be performed on all junior bikes at Lionheart GP. Blocking of gears is allowed. For

DIRECTIONS: 8400 Mason-Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040
Proceed North on I-71 to Exit 19 Mason-Montgomery/Fields Ertel Road. Turn north onto Mason-
Montgomery Rd. Proceed about 1.9 miles and turn right into Procter & Gamble Mason Business Center.
